Andrea Pitsch earned her Master’s Degree in Art Conservation from Queen’s University, Canada.  She gained further experience while working in the Conservation Departments of the National Gallery of Canada, the Northeast Document Conservation Center, and the Guggenheim Museum.

Andrea is a Professional Associate member of the American Institute of Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works, and all studio work is guided by their published Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice. She founded Andrea Pitsch Conservation in New York City in 1985.

    What a brilliant student she was even in Grade 8 when I taught her English…the best I ever encountered. If you read this Andrea, well done girl!

    BTW, that was in Waterloo Ontario at MacGregor Public Senior School some 37 or so years ago.
